Avi S. Rocklin is of-counsel to Hill & Robbins, P.C., where her practice emphasizes civil litigation, including complex commercial matters and class actions. Ms. Rocklin attended law school at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was Notes & Comments editor for the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a business honor society. Before entering private practice, Ms. Rocklin was a clerk to the Honorable Robert S. Hyatt of the Denver District Court and clerk to the Honorable Donald E. Cordova of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
In her litigation practice, Ms. Rocklin has served as assistant counsel for a class action representing nationwide retailers alleging various business torts against a major communications corporation, a securities-fraud class action representing several hundred limited partners, and a consumer class action representing insured motorists in Colorado against every major automobile insurance carrier. She also represents cable television providers and other major corporations in national and international disputes. Ms. Rocklin has been part of a litigation team defending the Denver Police Department against sexual harassment allegations, complicated real property disputes in the Vail Valley, and serious personal injury/wrongful death cases. She represented one of the victims of the shooting at Columbine High School.
Ms. Rocklin is a member of the Colorado and Boulder Bar Associations.
