Recently dubbed a "gem in complex commercial litigation" by Chambers & Partners in America's Leading Business Lawyers (2003), Hill & Robbins has represented individuals, small companies, and large corporations in complex litigation alleging business torts, breach of contract, and violation of commercial statutes. Our work frequently involves multinational corporations and foreign disputes. In addition to litigation the firm performed strategic legal analyses and internal investigations for multinational companies in the areas of fraud, bribery, and conspiracy.
Recent representation includes:
- Air Communications v. EchoStar Satellite Corp. (Arapahoe County District Court 2000): The firm represents a class of 20,000 retailers who claim EchoStar (d/b/a Dish Network) violated consumer protection laws and breached its contracts with retailers who marketed and sold Dish Network products to subscribers. The class is not yet certified.
- City of Central v. City of Black Hawk: The firm took the lead on behalf of all defendants in successfully briefing and arguing multiple motions to dismiss. The Trial Court dismissed all claims against all defendants and the case is now on appeal in the Tenth Circuit.

Starz Encore Group LLP: we have represented Starz Encore, a cable programming provider, in large commercial litigation matters with AT&T Broadband, Comcast, and the Walt Disney Company.

Velocom Inc.: we have represented Velocom in international litigation spanning North and South America related to Vesper, a cellular phone network based in Brazil.

Zee TV USA, Inc. v. International Cable Channels Partnership, Ltd. (AAA Tex. 2004), a complex commercial contract dispute, representing a distributor of international cable television channels against a programmer of a Hindi and South Asian cable television channel.
- Altresco v. CMS Energy: The firm successfully prosecuted a claim in ICC arbitration in Hong Kong involving a failed power plant project in the Philippines.
