Uninsured/Underinsured Auto Insurance Cases
Hill & Robbins, P.C. is currently representing plaintiffs in class actions filed on behalf of insurance consumers against 41 different insurance carriers. The insurance companies failed to inform policy holders that their uninsured/underinsured motorist premiums did not conform to Colorado law. As a result, policy holders were charged for coverage on multiple vehicles which did not result in any additional uninsured/underinsured coverage.
Eight of the insurance companies have settled. Thirteen of the cases are on appeal from summary judgment rulings in Boulder District Court. The rest of the cases are on stay in Boulder District Court pending outcome of the appeals.
