Founded in 1978, Hill & Robbins, P.C. is a Denver-based law firm specializing in complex litigation and water and natural-resources law. We have a long, successful history representing plaintiffs in class action matters, and have earned a preeminent reputation for our expertise in water law and natural-resources work throughout Colorado. Prior to founding Hill & Robbins, David Robbins served as Deputy Attorney General and was the head of the Natural Resources Division of the Colorado Attorney General's Office, and Robert Hill founded and directed the Antitrust Division of Colorado Attorney General's office.
Today, Hill & Robbins continues its mission of providing legal expertise
in specialized practice areas. The firm was named in the top five Colorado commercial-litigation
firms for 2003-2004 by Chambers & Partners' America’s
Leading Business Lawyers.
The two founding partners were nominated for the 2004 Denver Bar Association’s “Best
of the Bar” in three categories and received the award in antitrust law
and have been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for more than a decade. They
are currently
celebrating more than 25 years of partnership with excellence.
Hill & Robbins comprises eight partners and two associates, along with six staff members. Our practice includes antitrust, pension
benefits, securities, and class-action litigation; white-collar defense; as well
as water, natural resources, and environmental law. We are active in virtually
all types of litigation and alternative dispute resolution. We are also committed
to pro bono and community work addressing regional issues.
Hill & Robbins is located in downtown Denver’s LoDo district at the
corner of 18th and Blake streets, in the historical Blake Street Building. Our
emphasis is on a successful, well-rounded practice in the best traditions of
the bar.
